Purpose and Aims

Camellias Victoria Inc. was formed to bring together people who are interested in growing and learning about Camellias.  

Our Statement of Purposes states that we are to:

Encourage investigation and research into matters concerning the genus Camellia, to collect information and publish findings and by any appropriate means to make the genus, its species, hybrids and varieties known and appreciated throughout the world.

Bring into close association members of the community having a common interest in Camellias.

Provide and operate facilities for these purposes.

We do this by having monthly meetings where we have speakers, blooms competitions, discussions and friendship with other people who are also interested in camellias. We also have field days, shows and displays where we can show our flowers to members of the public.
