Meetings

Camellias Victoria meets monthly in the Burwood Heights Uniting Church Hall, Cnr Burwood Highway and Blackburn Road, East Burwood.  We hold our meetings from April to October.  During 2026 we will be holding 4 daytime meetings on the third Saturday of the month at 2pm in April, June, August and October. In May and July there will be visits to gardens, nurseries and private gardens. In September, we will be holding our one day Show which will feature the Victorian Camellia Championships and camellia plant sales. See calendar of our meetings and outings below.

2026 Calendar of Meetings & Outings

Camellia Meetings are held at Burwood Heights Uniting Church, Corner Burwood Highway & Blackburn Road, East Burwood.

• Saturday, 18 April at 2.00pm at Hall

• Saturday, 16 May - Outing (Venue to be advised)

• Saturday, 20 June at 2.00pm - Birthday Meeting at the Hall

• Saturday, 18 July - Outing (Venue to be advised)

• Saturday, 15 August - 2.00pm at Hall

• Saturday, 12 September - Annual Show at Burwood Heights Uniting Church in Burwood)

• Saturday, 17 October - 2.00pm at Hall

  A possible extra outing in September or October

• Our Hall meetings will have camellia blooms on display from our member’s gardens. There will be a sales table of plants. We will focus on cultural notes on growing camellias and a guest speaker usually on camellia subjects. There will be a free lending library for members.  If you are unable to attend the hall meetings, you can access the meeting via zoom.
